Abstract: Here is studied the presence of women on a private masculine club. The typical club of the gentlemanly capitalism society in Spain, the Casino of Madrid. Throughout indirect information in daily documents, journals and the decoration of the casino, we reconstruct the presence of that invisible women in that sociability space. The aim is to reconstruct the importance of the role played by women on those associations, and, by extent, to those men.
