Prática de ensino supervisionada em educação pré-escolar: ludicidade e aprendizagens no espaço exterior

Abstract

O presente relatório surge no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da Universidade de Évora e reporta-se à investigação-ação que foi desenvolvida com o objetivo de analisar, compreender, intervir e refletir sobre os espaços exteriores educativos, na dimensão pedagógica e lúdica, considerando as suas potencialidades para o desenvolvimento global das crianças. Os espaços exteriores são reconhecidos por estimularem brincadeiras, jogos e possibilitarem interações sociais e com o meio que fomentam as aprendizagens das crianças e o desenvolvimento de competências motoras, cognitivas sociais e emocionais. Neste pressuposto, efetuou-se uma intervenção que pretendeu melhorar a qualidade do ambiente educativo, valorizar as aprendizagens, as competências e a participação ativa das crianças, recorrendo à dinamização de propostas e a um projeto de intervenção no recreio do colégio. Utilizaram-se como instrumentos de recolha e análise de dados a Subescala da Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale - Movement/Play, entrevistas, planificações diárias e semanais da PES, notas de campo da observação participante, registos escritos do caderno de formação e registos fotográficos e em vídeo. Da análise dos resultados concluo, em termos gerais, que a intervenção possibilitou melhorias no ambiente educativo tendo a atitude dos/as educadores/as um papel decisivo na construção e dinamização de experiências significativas para as crianças nos espaços exteriores; Abstract: This report is part of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Masters in Pre-School Education of the University of Évora and refers to the action-research that was developed with the aim of analyzing, understanding, intervening and reflecting on the educational exterior spaces, in the pedagogical and playful dimension, considering their potential for the global development of children. The outdoor spaces are recognized for stimulating play, games and enabling social and environmental interactions that foster children's learning and the development of motor, cognitive, social and emotional skills. Under this assumption, an intervention was carried out to improve the quality of the educational environment, valuing the learning, skills and active participation of children, using the dynamics of proposals and an intervention project in the school playground. Data collection and analysis tools were used in the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale - Movement/Play, interviews, daily and weekly PES planning, field notes of the participant observation, written records of the training book and photographic and video records. From the analysis of the results, I conclude, in general terms, that the intervention made possible improvements in the educational environment, having the attitude of the educators a decisive role in the construction and dynamization of significant experiences for children in the exterior spaces.
