Ser mais em Grândola: um estudo de caso com a implementação do projeto TurmaMais como medida no combate ao insucesso escolar no concelho de Grândola

Abstract

O estudo que se apresenta inscreveu-se num estudo de caso, no campo da Educação organizacional denominado Ser Mais em Grândola – Um estudo de caso com a implementação do Projeto TurmaMais como medida no combate ao insucesso escolar. Foi estruturado de forma a realizar um estudo sobre o impacto do projeto TurmaMais, enquadrado no Projeto Mais Sucesso Escolar (PMSE), nas escolas do terceiro ciclo do concelho de Grândola. Tem como principal objetivo investigar a implementação do projeto educativo Mais Sucesso Escolar, desenvolvido pelo Ministério Educação, no combate ao insucesso escolar. Este projeto foi aplicado nas escolas que a ele se candidataram e que pretendiam reduzir esse insucesso. No processo de investigação empírica usou-se a metodologia qualitativa correlacionada com a quantitativa enquadrando-se num estudo de organização escolar. Efetuou-se um estudo sobre os resultados obtidos numa coorte de alunos, do 7º ao 9º ano escolar, no período de implementação do projeto, entre 2009/2010 e 2011/2012, comparando-os com os resultados obtidos pelas quatro coortes antecedentes, quer ao nível de avaliação obtida pela avaliação interna, quer pelos resultados provenientes da avaliação externa das disciplinas abrangidas pelos exames nacionais de final de ciclo. Não se descorou a realidade social e económica concelhia, bem como o histórico da sua envolvência nos resultados académicos no concelho; ABSTRACT:The study shows that is part of a case study in the field of Education organizational called Be More in Grândola - A case study of the implementation of the Project TurmaMais as a measure to combat school failure. It was structured to conduct a study on the impact of the methodology TurmaMais, framed in the Project More School Success (PMSE), from 7th to 9th grade classes in schools in the county of Grândola. Its main objective is to investigate the implementation of the educational project More School Success, developed by the Education Ministry, to combat school failure. This project was implemented in schools that he applied and they wanted to reduce this failure. In the process of empirical investigation it was used a qualitative methodology correlated with quantitative framing on a study of school organization. We conducted a study on the results of a cohort of students from 7th to 9th school year, the period of project implementation, between 2009/2010 and 2011/2012, comparing them with the results obtained by the four cohorts antecedents or the level of evaluation obtained by the internal evaluation, or by the results from the external evaluation of the subjets covered by the national examinations at the end of cycle. It was not bleached the social and economic reality municipal level, as well as the history of his involvement in academic results in the county.
