Representação da arquitectura da informação de uma organização escolar

Abstract

A proposta presente neste documento pretende apresentar a representação da arquitectura da informação de uma organização escolar, utilizando os conceitos de planeamento estratégico e representando os sistemas de informação existentes numa escola, onde os sistemas e tecnologias de informação ocupam um lugar de destaque, de forma a identificar as alterações necessárias para melhorar a gestão escolar. A referida representação é elaborada com base numa metodologia genérica, suportada pelo planeamento da melhoria da eficiência dos fluxos de informação. Numa escola existem vários sistemas de informação, uns relacionados entre si, outros que funcionam autonomamente. A representação da arquitectura da informação desses sistemas permitirá identificar pontos fracos e oportunidades. Por outro lado, os sistemas de informação das escolas potenciam a utilização elevada de fluxos de papel nos diversos fluxos de informação; a correcta identificação desses fluxos, conduzente à elaboração de uma proposta de redução do papel utilizado, poderá ser uma mais-valia significativa em termos de estratégia de gestão, para melhorar a eficiência e eficácia sobre os fluxos de informação que circulam na organização. Após o desenho e descrição da organização, sobrevém a apresentação de processos dinâmicos de melhoria e alteração dos sistemas de informação. O sucesso da representação informacional é demonstrativo do contributo das fases de recolha, planeamento e identificação dos diversos conceitos inerentes ao processo de desenvolvimento do projecto. A metodologia do referencial de Zachman-Sowa servirá de suporte à descrição do projecto, através da esquematização da organização escolar e dos processos, entidades, dados e grupos envolvidos; ABSTRACT: The proposal contained in this document is to provide the representation of the information architecture of a school organization, using the concepts of strategic planning and accounting information systems existing in a school where the systems and information technology occupy an important place in order to identify changes needed to improve school management. Such representation is developed based on a generic methodology, supported by planning to improve the efficiency of information flows. In a school there are several information systems, some interrelated, others who work independently. The representation of the information architecture of these systems will identify weaknesses and opportunities. On the other hand, information systems schools enhance the use of high flow of paper in different streams of information, the correct identification of these flows, conducive to the development of a proposal to reduce the paper used, may be a significant added value in terms of management strategy to improve the efficiency and effectiveness on flows of information circulating in the organization. After the design and description of the organization, cometh the presentation of dynamic processes of change and improvement of information systems. The success of the representation of information is demonstrative of the contribution of the phases of collection, planning and identification of the various concepts inherent in the process of project development. The methodology of the benchmark Zachman-Sowa will support the project description, through the layout of the school organization and processes, entities, data, and groups involved.
