As ilustrações realizadas e o produto final poderão auxiliar o projecto LIFE-Estepárias, através da sua divulgação e comercialização, nomeadamente, na loja da Lpn (Herdade do Vale Gonçalinho); ABSTRACT: Lpn does an important Job in the conservation of the habitats and their species in the steppes of Baixo Alentejo.
LIFE Estepárias is one of many projects performed by Lpn which aims the conservation of three species of steppe birds: Lesser kestrel, Great bustard and the Little bustard, which are species of priority conservation although highly vulnerable to the agriculture changes.
The primary goal of this project is to raise awareness among the people, to the preservation of those species and their habitats, by knowing them and their environment.
In order to achieve the proposed objectives, an exhausted search of the bird physiognomy and behavior was done culminating in a series of illustrations.
The materials and supports were well thought towards attaining a better result doing the final illustrations.
So, the final product of this work was an observation bird guide of this species, which was made not just to help in bird watching but also to have the important mission to aware people for the environmental conservation.
The merchandising material (done with the final illustrations) and the bird guide, may help the LIFE Estepárias project, through divulgation and commercialization in the Lpn store. |
