Lifestyle Profile Scale (ILPS) e do HLS-EU-PT-Q16.
na evidência; - Health Literacy for Healthy Ageing in a Senior University
ABSTRACT:
Population ageing constitutes a significant challenge, associated with the rising
prevalence of chronic diseases and the need to promote healthy lifestyles, with health
literacy (HL) playing a key role in influencing health-related decision-making. In this context,
the project “Health Literacy for Healthy Ageing in a Senior University” was developed, aiming
to promote health-enhancing behaviours and improve HL levels. Based on the Health
Planning methodology, the situational diagnosis was conducted using the Individual
Lifestyle Profile Scale (ILPS) and the HLS-EU-PT-Q16. Educational interventions were
implemented between October 2025 and January 2026. Needs were identified in relation to
lifestyle behaviours and HL, guiding the intervention. The project contributed to participants’
empowerment and to the development of specialist and master-level nursing competencies,
particularly in research, critical analysis, and evidence-based practice. |
