Trauma Perineal: Intervenção do Enfermeiro Obstetra no Puerpério Precoce

Abstract

Enquadramento: O Estágio de Natureza Profissional com Relatório Final decorreu durante o 2.º ano do Mestrado de Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, em que o estudante seguiu um plano de atividades, respondendo aos objetivos da Unidade Curricular. Objetivo: Descrever o processo de aquisição de competências e contributos para a atualização dos cuidados obstétricos. Metodologia: Mobilização de processos de reflexão crítica e de conhecimentos teórico-práticos e Revisão da Literatura, aprofundando a evidência sobre cuidados ao trauma perineal, no puerpério precoce. Resultados: Aquisição de competências Comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista e Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e identificação de intervenções que minimizam complicações do trauma perineal, no puerpério precoce. Conclusões: Aquisição de responsabilidades na vigilância da saúde materna e fetal; identificação de intervenções eficazes na minimização complicações do trauma perineal no puerpério precoce, contribuindo para a melhoria dos cuidados ao longo do ciclo reprodutivo e sexual da mulher; Perineal Trauma: Intervention of the Obstetric Nurse in the early Postpartum Period - Abstract: Introduction: The Clinical Professional Placement occurred during the second year of the Obstetric Nurse academic cycle, where it was developed an activity plan by the student, to reach the objectives proposed by the curricular course. Objective: To describe the process of acquired skills and the contribute to obstetric care, with updated theoretical and practical knowledge. Methodology: Analysis and reflection of the activities carried out and development of a Literature Review deepening the scientific evidence on perineal trauma care during the early postpartum period. Results: Acquisition of Specialist Nurse Common Skills and Obstetric Nurse Specific Skills and identification of interventions that minimize complications of perineal trauma in the early postpartum period. Conclusion: Acquisition of responsibilities of maternal and fetal health; identification of effective interventions that minimize complications of perineal trauma in the early postpartum period, contributing to the improvement of obstetric care throughout the woman's reproductive and sexual cycle.
