O ensino básico da trompa através das composições de Ricardo Matosinhos e João Gaspar

Abstract

A Prática de Ensino Supervisionada corresponde a um estágio realizado no Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo com alunos da classe de trompa do professor Jorge Barradas, no ano letivo de 2022/2023, e está dividido em duas partes. A primeira parte do relatório irá ter como foco principal a caracterização e contextualização da instituição onde foi realizado o projeto (Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo) assim como dos alunos que foram acompanhados ao longo do estágio sendo também realizada uma análise e reflexão das aulas observadas ao longo de toda a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada. A segunda parte do relatório é baseada na metodologia de investigação e nos seus resultados, focando-se essencialmente no ensino básico da trompa não só por existirem várias limitações do ponto de vista da oferta bibliográfica especificamente direcionada para a didática ou das capacidades técnicas dos alunos como também pela maior abundância dos recursos pedagógicos dos discentes nestes níveis de ensino vocacional. Durante esta metodologia serão utilizados métodos de iniciação para o ensino básico da trompa com pequenas lições de música tradicional portuguesa a solo e/ou grupo, exercícios específicos e obras para cada grau de ensino. Esta investigação não visa substituir o material recorrente no ensino básico da trompa, mas sim complementar e enriquecer os discentes com obras dos compositores portugueses Ricardo Matosinhos e João Gaspar, criteriosamente selecionados por serem ambos trompistas compositores e cujas obras têm críticas na Horn Call, revista da International Horn Society. Deste modo, o presente trabalho visa dar a conhecer uma grande variedade de composições portuguesas assim como os seus benefícios para o ensino básico da trompa em Portugal; - Abstract: Basic teaching of the horn through the compositions of Ricardo Matosinhos and João Gaspar The Supervised Teaching Practice corresponds to an internship carried out at the Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo with students from Professor Jorge Barradas's horn class, in the 2022/2023 academic year, and is divided into two parts. The first part of the report will focus mainly on the characterization and contextualization of the institution where the project was carried out (Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo) as well as the students who were monitored throughout the internship, and will also analyze and reflect on the classes observed throughout the Supervised Teaching Practice. The second part of the report is based on the research methodology and its results, focusing essentially on basic horn teaching, not only because there are several limitations from the point of view of the bibliographic offer specifically aimed at didactics or the technical capabilities of the students, but also because of the greater abundance of pedagogical resources for students at these levels of vocational education. This methodology will use introductory methods for teaching the basic horn, with short lessons of traditional Portuguese music for solo and/or group use, specific exercises and works for each level of education. This research does not aim to replace the material used in basic horn teaching, but rather to complement and enrich students with works by Portuguese composers Ricardo Matosinhos and João Gaspar, carefully selected because they are both horn players and composers and whose works have been reviewed in Horn Call, the magazine of the Horn Call International Horn Society. In this way, this work aims to make known a wide variety of Portuguese compositions as well as their benefits for basic horn teaching in Portugal.
