Atos ancestrais e artísticos: o teatro Mandaru como potencializador da representatividade e resistência do povo indígena Xukuru do Ororubá

Abstract

A escolha da temática teatro e ancestralidade partiu das minhas inquietações enquanto artista originário da região da cidade de Pesqueira, Pernambuco, Brasil. Nesta região, mais precisamente no Território Indígena Xukuru do Ororubá, está localizado o povo Indígena Xukuru. Assim como diversos povos originários, o povo Xukuru também possui suas práticas artísticas que envolvem o rito, a dança, a representação teatral e o canto. Resultado de um ano de coleta de dados, por meio da pesquisa de campo, um dos objetivos desse trabalho é investigar as representações teatrais realizadas pelo Grupo de Teatro Mandaru, do povo Xukuru do Ororubá, assim como outras manifestações culturais representadas pela comunidade, que perpassem pelas artes cênicas e potencialize as perspectivas de resistência. Lançando um olhar a partir de conceitos da Etnocenologia, este trabalho busca responder a seguinte problemática: de que maneira o grupo de Teatro Mandaru potencializa as questões de resistência e representatividade? - ABSTRACT: Ancestral and artistic acts: the Mandaru Theater as an enhancer of representation and resistance of the Xukuru do Ororubá Indigenous people The choice of the theme theater and ancestry came from my concerns as an artist from the region of Pesqueira, Pernambuco, Brazil. In this region, more precisely in the Xukuru do Ororubá Indigenous Territory, the Xukuru indigenous people are located. Like many indigenous peoples, the Xukuru people also have their own artistic practices that involve rites, dance, theatrical representation and singing. Result of a year of data collection through field research, one of the objectives of this work is to investigate the theatrical representations performed by the Mandaru Theater Group, of the Xukuru people of Ororubá, as well as other cultural manifestations represented by the community, which pervade the performing arts and enhance the perspectives of resistance. Launching a look from concepts of Ethnocenology, this work seeks to answer the following problem: how does the Mandaru Theater group enhance the issues of resistance and representativeness?
