As mulheres e o teatro de marionetas e formas animadas em Portugal: desafios, poéticas e modos de criar

Abstract

O presente relatório pretendeu refletir sobre a relação entre o teatro de marionetas e formas animadas e a dramaturgia criada por mulheres-criadoras portuguesas, ou que desenvolvem o seu trabalho em Portugal, tendo como objeto de estudo o processo criativo de um espetáculo de teatro de objetos, que teve por mote a palavra “mulher”. O processo criativo articulou vários aspetos, nomeadamente oficinas com a comunidade, entrevistas a colegas criadoras do Teatro de Marionetas e Formas Animadas, a exploração do teatro de objetos, a relação entre a atriz e o objeto e a música/som. A dramaturgia da peça foi sendo criada ao longo de seis meses, resultado da interação de todos estes elementos. Assim, o relatório encontra-se dividido em duas partes, sendo que no primeiro capítulo se procede à contextualização da problemática e conceitos que norteiam o projeto, enquanto que no segundo capítulo se avança para a reflexão do mesmo, procurando responder à questão de partida “Que representações e poéticas emergem de produções feitas por mulheres no teatro de marionetas e formas animadas?” - Women and Puppetry and Animated Forms Theater in Portugal: Challenges, Poetics, and Modes of Creation Abstract: This report aims to reflect on the relationship between puppetry and animated forms theater and the dramaturgy created by Portuguese women creators or those working in Portugal, focusing on the creative process of a theater performance involving objects, inspired by the word "woman." The creative process involves various aspects, including community workshops, interviews with fellow creators in the Puppetry and Animated Forms Theater, exploration of object theater, the relationship between the actress and the object, and music/sound. The play's dramaturgy was developed over six months, resulting from the interaction of all these elements. As a result, the report is divided into two parts. The first chapter provides context for the issue and concepts guiding the project, while the second chapter delves into its reflection while seeking to answer the initial question: "What representations and poetics emerge from productions created by women in puppetry and animated forms theater?"
