A transcrição musical como meio para a diversidade estilística na aprendizagem do Eufónio

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Música realizado na Universidade de Évora. Relativamente à estrutura, encontra-se dividido em duas secções distintas, a primeira corresponde ao relatório de estágio e à Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, ano letivo 2021/2022, no Conservatório de Música Choral Phydellius (Torres Novas), na classe de eufónios e tubas orientada pelo professor Bruno Pascoal. A segunda secção refere-se ao projeto de investigação com o título A transcrição musical como meio para a diversidade estilística na aprendizagem do Eufónio, tendo como ponto de partida investigar a introdução de diferentes estilos musicais, através da transcrição de obras específicas, poderá ou não desempenhar um papel relevante na aprendizagem do eufónio. A metodologia aplicada (investigação - ação) e o seu carácter qualitativo (recolha de informação através de questionários) permitirá ao mestrando obter resultados concretos na investigação. Por último, através dos resultados obtidos na pesquisa será possível definir estratégias no processo ensino-aprendizagem e encontrar novos caminhos que permitam, cada vez mais, incentivar os alunos a desenvolver motivação para estudar o seu instrumento enquanto adquirem experiência em variados estilos de música e se tornam, por isso, músicos mais versáteis; Musical transcription as a means for stylistic diversity in learning the euphonium Abstract: This research work comes within the scope of the Master in Music Teaching held at the University of Évora. Regarding the structure, it is divided into two distinct sections, the first corresponds to the internship report and the Supervised Teaching Practice, academic year 2021/2022, at the Conservatório de Música Choral Phydellius (Torres Novas), in the class of euphoniums and tubas guided by Professor Bruno Pascoal. The second section refers to the research project entitled Musical transcription as a means for stylistic diversity in learning the Euphonium, having as a starting point to investigate whether the introduction of different musical styles, through the transcription of specific works, can or will not play a relevant role in learning the euphonium. The applied methodology (research - action) and its qualitative character (collection of information through questionnaires) will allow the master's student to obtain concrete results in the investigation. Finally, through the results obtained in the research, it will be possible to define strategies in the teaching-learning process and find new ways that allow, more and more, to encourage students to develop motivation to study their instrument while acquiring experience in different styles of music and they therefore become more versatile musicians.
