Competências do enfermeiro especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica nas controvérsias da diversificação alimentar no primeiro ano de vida

Abstract

O presente relatório, dá ênfase ao trabalho realizado ao longo do estágio, onde implementamos o projeto de intervenção, tendo por base os modelos teóricos de Nola Pender no âmbito da promoção de saúde e de Anne Casey ao nível da parceria de cuidados. Neste trabalho é feita uma análise crítica em relação às competências do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de saúde infantil e pediátrica e mestre adquiridas e desenvolvidas ao longo dos estágios, bem como relatadas as atividades realizadas. O primeiro ano de vida do bebé é repleto de mudanças constantes, crescimento e desenvolvimento acelerados, ganhos acrescidos ao nível da motricidade grossa e fina e de aquisição de hábitos que podem influenciar futuramente a vida em adulto. É fundamental a prática de uma alimentação saudável desde o nascimento, que se deverá manter com a introdução e diversificação alimentar. Para tal, é necessário haver ligação entre o que é espectável, desejado e adequado a cada latente e sua família. A amamentação exclusiva até aos 6 meses de vida é o idealmente preconizado pela Organização Mundial de Saúde e Direção Geral de Saúde, mas após esse período a introdução e diversificação alimentar não existe uniformização entre os profissionais de saúde, pelo que os bebés e famílias devem ser orientados e enriquecidos com conhecimentos das melhores opções existentes. Concluímos que a intervenção do EEESIP é fundamental na promoção da saúde, mais concretamente na introdução e diversificação alimentar, onde devem ser feitas escolhas saudáveis desde o nascimento; Abstract: "Competences of the Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health in the Controversies of Food Diversification in the First Year of Life " This report emphasizes the work done during the internship, where we implemented the intervention project, based on the theoretical models of Nola Pender in health promotion and Anne Casey in care partnership. In this paper, a critical analysis is made regarding the competencies of the specialist nurse in child health and pediatric nursing and master's acquired and developed during the internships, as well as a report on the activities performed. The first year of a baby's life is full of constant changes, accelerated growth and development, increased gains in gross and fine motor skills, and the acquisition of habits that may influence future adult life. It is essential to practice healthy eating from birth, which should be maintained with the introduction and diversification of food. This requires a connection between what is expected, desired, and appropriate for each latent and his or her family. Exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months of age is ideally recommended by the World Health Organization and the Directorate General of Health, but after this period the introduction and diversification of foods is not standardized among health professionals, so babies and families should be guided and enriched with knowledge of the best options available. We conclude that the EEESIP intervention is fundamental in health promotion, more specifically in the introduction and diversification of food, where healthy choices should be made from birth.
