A perceção dos scouters, treinadores e jogadores sobre a identificação, recrutamento e desenvolvimento de talentos no futebol

Abstract

O estudo realizado teve como principal objetivo principal fazer uma análise a perceção dos jogadores, treinadores e scouters em relação à identificação, recrutamento e desenvolvimento de talentos no futebol. Foi utilizado um questionário (para a recolha de dados) aplicado 60 jogadores, 6 treinadores e 6 scouters das equipas que disputam a fase final do campeonato nacional de Portugal Sub.19, da época 2019/2020. A análise dos dados, distribuídos 7 dimensões, foi realizada através do programa IMB SPSS Statistic®. Foi utilizada a estatística descritiva e a técnica estatística Chi-Square tests por simulação de Monte Carlo para um nível de significância de P≤0,05. Os participantes no estudo apresentam alguma concordância nas respostas dadas, no entanto demonstram alguma discordância em algumas variáveis das 7 dimensões estudadas. Os resultados revelam alguma diferença na perceção dos participantes relativamente à dimensão física, nas variáveis velocidade, força, resistência, desenvolvimento e antropometria, assim como nas habilidades motoras e capacidades coordenativas da dimensão técnica e no desempenho escolar na dimensão das condições externas. Nas outras dimensões verifica-se maior concordância, dando os inquiridos relevância aos aspetos psicológicos assim como à estrutura familiar, tomada de decisão e habilidades técnicas. A dimensão que os participantes deram maior importância foi a que incidiu sobre a gestão desportiva dos talentos, demonstrando que o recrutamento tem que ser um processo minucioso, verificando-se a necessidade de formação específica para deteção e seleção de talentos, a fim de que os clubes beneficiem do seu departamento a curto, médio e longo prazo desportivamente e economicamente. Concluímos que os participantes têm a perceção que a deteção de talentos, bem como a gestão desportiva são aspetos de grande importância para a viabilidade desportiva e económica dos clubes no contexto atual desportivo; Abstract: The main objective of the study was to analyze the perception of players, coaches and scouters in relation to the identification, recruitment and development of talent in football. A questionnaire was used (for data collection) applied 60 players, 6 coaches and 6 scouters from the teams that compete in the final phase of the Portuguese national championship Sub.19, from the 2019/2020 season. The analysis of the data, distributed 7 dimensions, was made through IMB SPSS Statistic®. We used the descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square statistical technique by Monte Carlo simulation for a significance level of P≤0,05. The participants in the study showed some agreement in the answers given, however they showed some disagreement in some variables of the 7 dimensions studied. The results reveal some difference in participants' perception of the physical dimension, the variables speed, strength, endurance, development and anthropometry, as well as in motor skills and coordinating abilities of the technical dimension and school performance in the dimension of external conditions. In the other dimensions there is more agreement, giving the respondents relevance to psychological aspects as well as family structure, decision making and technical skills. The dimension that the participants gave more importance was the one that focused on the sports management of talents, demonstrating that the recruitment has to be a meticulous process, being verified the need of specific training for detection and selection of talents, so that the clubs benefit from their department in the short, medium and long term sportively and economically. We conclude that the participants have the perception that talent detection as well as sports management are aspects of great importance for the clubs' sportive and economic viability in the current sportive context.
