II PhD Students Meeting in Environmental and Agriculture

Abstract

ICAAM and IIFA from the University of Évora, will organise this year the II PhD Students Meeting in Environment and Agriculture on the 16th and 17th November in the University of Évora.

This meeting intends to stimulate the interaction between PhD students, to streamline scientific discussion and highlight the ones who will become the researchers of the future. Everyone working on these research areas is invited to participate in this Meeting and submit an abstract. However, oral communications will be selected from the abstracts submitted by PhD students only.

The meeting is not only intended for PhD students associated to ICAAM (Biology, Agronomic and Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry, Veterinarian Sciences and Interdisciplinary Landscape Management) but also for PhD students from other Portuguese Research Centers and Universities.

The Meeting will have a scientific congress structure, with invited speakers on four thematic sessions and will be held at Pólo da Mitra – Universidade de Évora.

A field trip will be organized at Pólo da Mitra to highlight the interface between Environment and Agriculture.

It is also an excellent opportunity for the outsiders to get to know the beautiful city of Évora, an UNESCO World Heritage.
