A resposta educativa às crianças em situação de fragilidade no concelho de Portalegre

Abstract

A inclusão de crianças de risco nas escolas de ensino regular veio dar o primeiro passo para ajudar estas crianças, bem como as suas famílias a ultrapassar muitas das dificuldades com que se deparavam no seu dia-a-dia, sendo fundamental a existência de uma boa colaboração entre os pais destas crianças e os estabelecimentos de ensino no sentido de minimizar e até ultrapassar essas dificuldades. Apesar do nível dos conhecimentos actuais, relativos ao crescimento e desenvolvimento da criança, da consciencialização, da necessidade de protecção à infância e à família, a violência sobre a criança perpetua-se na nossa sociedade nos dias de hoje. Foi a partir deste postulado que nasceu esta investigação associado ao gosto pela Educação de Infância e ao gosto pelo estudo. Com esta investigação, pretendemos dar resposta à seguinte questão de partida: quais são as Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social, os Jardins-de-Infância da rede pública e as Instituições com actividade no âmbito da Protecção de Menores do Concelho de Portalegre e qual a sua oferta educativa no sentido da integração, da igualdade de oportunidades e no combate à exclusão social de crianças de risco e respectivas famílias? O estudo é realizado ao nível dos Projectos Educativos, do trabalho com profissionais especializados, do trabalho com as famílias, do papel do Educador de Infância no sentido de colmatar as desigualdades, do papel das concepções e percepções que a criança possui acerca do mundo que a rodeia e ainda ao nível da articulação com o 1o Ciclo do Ensino Básico. O Enquadramento teórico aborda o conceito de criança, refere-se aos os seus direitos, faz uma descrição sobre o que são os maus-tratos e sobre as crianças em situação de risco. Refere ainda quais as respostas sócio-educativas existentes no concelho de Portalegre e qual a sua intervenção sócio-educativa. Finalmente, caracteriza o concelho de Portalegre e todas as instituições entrevistadas. Na segunda parte da Dissertação, apresenta-se a Metodologia, sendo que o modelo metodológico utilizado para este estudo foi o modelo qualitativo. Podemos então afirmar que Portalegre está no bom caminho no que diz respeito a uma boa integração de crianças e famílias em situação de risco. Possui uma vasta oferta educativa onde se luta para se adaptar os Projectos Educativos aos casos específicos e dar uma atenção o mais individualizada possível de preferência por profissionais especializados. Verifica-se que existe o cuidado de dar continuidade entre os valores e cultura das famílias e a escola e releva-se a importância da educação Pré-Escolar para o bom desenvolvimento de todas as crianças. Todo este trabalho contraria a manifestação de problemas de desenvolvimento o que sem dúvida contribuirá para um crescimento global e harmonioso de todas as nossas crianças. ABSTRACT: The inclusion of children of risk in the schools of regular education Iode to give the first step to help these children, as well as its families to exceed many of the difficulties with that if they carne across day-by-day in its, being basic the existence of a good contribution enters the parents of these children and the educational establishments in the direction of to minimize and until exceeding these difficulties. Despite the level of the actual, relative knowledge to the growth and development of the child, of the consciencialization, the necessity of protection to infancy and the family, the violence on the child is perpetuated in our society in the present. It was from this postulate that was born this inquiry associated with the taste for the Education of lnfancy and with the taste for the study. With this inquiry, we intend to give reply to the following question of departure: which are the Particular Institutions of Social Solidarity, of the public net and the Institutions with activity in the scope of the Protecção de Menores of the Concelho de Portalegre and which its offer educative in the direction of the integration, the equality of chances and in the combat to the social exclusion of children of risk and respective families? The study it is carried through to the level of the Educative Project, of the work with specialized professionals, the work with the families, the paper of the Educator of lnfancy in the direction of colmatar the inequalities, of the paper of the conceptions and perceptions that the child possesss concerning the world that encircle it and still to the level of the joint with 1º Cycle. The theoretical Framing approaches the child concept, mentions its rights to it, makes a description on what they are the bad-treatments and on the children in risk situation. It still relates to which the existing partner-educative answers in concelho of Portalegre and which its partner-educative intervention. Finally, it characterizes concelho of Portalegre and all the interviewed institutions. ln the second part, it is presented Methodology, being that the used methodological model for this study was the qualitative model. We can then affirm that Portalegre is in the good way in what it says respect to a good integration of children and families in risk situation. It possesss a vast one offers educative where if fight to adapt the Educative Project to the specific cases and to give a possible individual attention of preference for specialized professionals. It is verified that it exists the care to give to continuity between the values and culture of the families and the school and raises it importance of the Preschool education for the good development of all the children. Ali this work opposes the manifestation of development problems what without a doubt it will contribute for a global and harmonious growth of all our children.
