O papel da família no processo de intervenção precoce na perspectiva das famílias

Abstract

O período da infância sempre constituiu uma preocupação no que se refere às suas implicações para o desenvolvimento futuro do individuo. Esta preocupação foi sendo atendida mercê da influência que os fatores políticos, sociais e científicos exerceram ao Iongo da história da humanidade. Esta dissertação tem como temática mais alargada a Intervenção Precoce. A nível nacional a Iegislação para o efeito, define a Intervenção Precoce como "uma medida de apoio integrado, centrado na criança e na família (...)". Progressivamente, diversas contribuições conceptuais vieram reforçar a importância do envolvimento familiar, a abordagem da intervenção passa a ser centrado na família e de base comunitária, valorizam aspetos ligados ao funcionamento da família, à sua capacitação e poder. Esta dissertação tem como objetivo estudar o papel da família no processo de Intervenção Precoce na perspetiva da família. A população do estudo é constituída por quarenta e quatro famílias e respetivas crianças. Utilizou-se a abordagem quantitativa e o instrumento de colheita de dados foi o questionário semiestruturado. Concluímos que as famílias são o recurso central na vida da criança, são agentes ativos, informados e parceiros no processo de intervenção com a criança. /ABSTRACT - The period of infancy always constituted a concern as for its implications for the future development of the individual. This concern was being taken care of grace of the influence that the factors politicians, social and scientific had exerted throughout the history of the humanity. This dissertation as thematic more has widened the precocious intervention. At national level the legislation is into effect diligence, defines the precocious intervention as “a measure of integrated support, centered in the child and the family (...)”. Gradually, diverse conceptual contributions had come to strengthen the importance of the familiar involvement, the approach of the intervention pass to be centered in the family and of communitarian base, they value on aspects to the functioning of the family, to its qualification and power This dissertation has like objective to study the paper of the family in the process of precocious intervention in the perspective of the family. The population in study is constituted by forty-four families and respective children. lt was used quantitative boarding and the instrument of harvest of data was the half-structuralized questionnaire. We conclude that the families are the central resource in life of child, are active and informative agents, and partners in the process of intervention with the child.
