A gestão de informação como factor estruturante e instrumento de gestão

Abstract

Os atuais sistemas de informação utilizados nas escolas não respondem às necessidades das mesmas no que se refere:‐ Acesso generalizado e facilidade de utilização por parte de toda a comunidade educativa, devido à especificidade das interfaces e às dificuldades de acesso remoto; ‐ Fiabilidade e robustez, em termos do acesso e da gestão da informação armazenada nas bases de dados, devido à multiplicidade de aplicações autónomas e incompatíveis; ‐ Autonomia das escolas quanto à adaptação dos sistemas de informação, face a nova legislação ou às várias realidades locais, com aproveitamento dos seus recursos internos, devido à falta de um enquadramento adequado e de uma estratégia de informação. Nesta investigação pretende‐se estudar a forma como é gerida a informação na Escola ou Agrupamento de Escolas, bem como em que medida será possível beneficiar os aspetos organizacionais dos agrupamentos e como nova realidade, pela gestão informativa. O estudo de caso considera cada um dos responsáveis pela informação, por secção funcional correspondente. /ABSTRACT ‐ The current used systems of information in the schools do not answer to the needs of the same ones in the following one: ‐ Generalized access and easiness of use on the part of all the educative community, due to specifics of the interfaces and to the difficulties of remote access; ‐ Reliability and robustness, in terms of the access and the management of the information stored in the databases, due to multiplicity of autonomous and incompatible applications; ‐ Autonomy of the schools how much to the adaptation of the systems of information, face the new legislation or to the some local realities, with exploitation of its internal resources, due to lack of an adequate framing and a strategy of information. ln this inquiry it is intended to study the form as the information in the School or Grouping of Schools is managed, as well as studying where measured it will be possible to benefit the organizational aspects of the same groupings, as new reality, for the informative management, The case study it considers each one of the responsible ones for the information, for corresponding functional section.
