O saloio de Alcobaça. O reescrever da memória perdida no teatro tradicional de marionetas português

Abstract

Este trabalho consiste na recuperação de uma peça do repertório do teatro tradicional de marionetas português, o teatro Dom Roberto, apenas conhecido pelo seu título, O Saloio de Alcobaça. Apesar de fragmentada, organizei a informação sobre esta peça a que consegui ter acesso através da investigação efetuada. Reescrevi toda a intriga com base no material recolhido e no espólio das peças que ainda são apresentadas nos dias de hoje. Durante a experimentação e ao longo do processo criativo desenvolvi novas rotinas para o teatro Dom Roberto. Na investigação levada a cabo para este trabalho, descobri documentos inéditos (fotografias, registos vídeo e áudio) de grande valor sobre o teatro de marionetas em Portugal, que são utilizados neste trabalho; ABSTRACT: This work consists in recovering a part of the repertoire of the traditional Portuguese puppet theater, Dom Roberto Theater, known only by its title. O Saloio de Alcobaça. Although fragmented, I’ve organized the information that I could access on this play through the conducted research. Rewrote the entire plot based on the gathered material as well as on the plays which are still made today. During the investigation and throughout the creative process I’ve develop new routines to the Dom Roberto Theatre. In research carried out for this job, I discovered unpublished documents (photographs, video and sound recordings) of great value on the puppet theatre in Portugal, which are used in this work.
