(Ciência Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente) do Currículo Nacional do Ensino Básico
elementos de uma narrativa construída; ABSTRACT: The lack of motivation of young students regarding the scientific areas is unsettling.
We believe that this tendency can be dealt with if learning environments articulated with
History and Science Philosophy are promoted. In this paper we present a study on this
subject, illustrated with an experiment conducted in the area of Physics and Chemistry
which includes the STSE (Science, Technology, Society and Environment) program
guidelines of the National Curriculum of the Portuguese Elementary Teaching Level. An
historical experiment which deserved to be recognized was chosen to this effect because it
had enormous scientific, social and technological repercussions; it is a part of school books
since the 19th century and had the singularity of coming to life in a didactic context: the
Ørsted Experiment.
The paper involved the recreation of the experiment in the classroom, contextualizing it
with elements from the narrative speech. |
