O ensino da matemática na educação de jovens e adultos em escolas públicas na rede municipal de Ananindeua

Abstract

O estudo baseia-se em estudo de caso, utilizou-se com a finalidade de encontrar estratégias que pudesse contribuir para melhoria e transformação da realidade do ensino da Matemática na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). Buscou-se identificar o papel da Matemática no contexto da Educação de Jovens e Adultos da 3ª e 4ª Etapas do Ensino Fundamental, analisando o perfil do profissional de que leciona Matemática na EJA em escolas públicas, assim como, os métodos aplicados no ensino da Matemática, atualmente, nas escolas públicas municipais de Ananindeua. O estudo realizado constatou que o ensino da Matemática tem contribuído para a promoção da cidadania, na medida em que desenvolvem ações utilizando os conteúdos e metodologias em sala de aula que estimulam o aluno a leitura, reflexão e intervenção na sua realidade. Constatou também que o ensino da matemática amplia os conceitos e habilidades matemáticas além de motivar a formação de atitudes em prol do bem comum, servindo ainda como instrumental de aprovação e reprovação, sem a participação dos alunos nas avaliações do processo ensino e aprendizagem; ABSTRACT: The study bases on case study, it was used with the purpose of finding strategies it to contribute to improvement and transformation of the reality of the teaching of the Mathematics in the Education of Youths and Adults (EJA). It was looked for to identify the paper of the Mathematics in the context of the Education of Youths and Adults of the 3rd and 4th Stages of the Fundamental Teaching, analyzing the professional's profile that it teaches Mathematics in EJA in public schools, as well as, the applied methods in the teaching of the Mathematics, now, in the municipal public schools of Ananindeua. The accomplished study verified that the teaching of the Mathematics has been contributing to the promotion of the citizenship, in the measure in that develop actions using the contents and methodologies in room of class that you stimulate the student the reading, reflection and intervention in your reality. He also verified that the teaching of the mathematics enlarges the concepts and mathematical abilities besides motivating the formation of attitudes on behalf of the very common, still serving as instrumental of approval and reproof, without the students' participation in the evaluations of the process teaching and learning.
