"One-night stands": vinculação, estilos de amor, género e consumo de álcool: um estudo com alunos universitários

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objectivos estudar a Orientação Sociossexual dos estudantes universitários compreendendo a relação entre esta e as variáveis Dimensões da Vinculação, Estilos de Amor, género e consumo de álcool. Os participantes foram 260 estudantes pertencentes à Universidade de Évora, a frequentar o 1º Ciclo. Foi-lhes administrado um protocolo constituído pelos instrumentos: Escala de Vinculação do Adulto (EVA), Escala de Atitudes em Relação ao Amor (EAA), Inventário de Orientação Sociossexual – Revisto (IOS-R) e três questões relativas à participação em one-night stands após ingestão de bebidas alcoólicas. Com base nos resultados, concluiu-se que duas das dimensões da Vinculação (Conforto com a proximidade e Ansiedade) se correlacionam significativamente com a Orientação Sociossexual, tal como os Estilos de Amor Eros e Ludus. Verificaram-se diferenças estatisticamente significativas na Orientação Sociossexual em função do género e da participação em one-night stands após consumo de álcool. Estas diferenças, apesar de significativas carecem de maior desenvolvimento; ABSTRACT: The present work aimed the study of the Sociosexual Orientation of college students, comprising the relationship between this variable and the variables Attachment Dimensions, Love Styles, gender and alcohol consumption. The participants were 260 students, all attending the graduation years, in the University of Évora. They were administered a protocol consisting of the instruments: the Adult Attachment Scale (AAS), the Love Attitudes Scale (LAS), The Sociosexual Orientation Inventory – Revised (SOI-R) and three questions relating to participation in one-night stand after alcohol consumption. Based on the results, we concluded that two dimensions of Attachment (Close and Anxiety) are significantly correlated with Sociosexual Orientation, such as the love styles Eros and Ludus. There were statistically significant differences in Sociosexual Orientation according both to gender and participation in one-night stands after alcohol consumption. These differences, although significant, require further development.
