Construção de pontes: O envolvimento familiar em contexto de Creche e Jardim-de-Infância

Abstract

O presente Relatório de estágio, surgiu no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em Creche e Jardim de Infância do mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. Nele está presente todo o trabalho de investigação-ação que foi desenvolvido ao logo destes anos em cada uma das instituições. A metodologia deste relatório foi sustentada pela investigação-ação, onde pretendo dar resposta às seguintes questões: “Como posso envolver as famílias nas práticas educativas?” e “Que impacto pode trazer esse envolvimento nas crianças?”. Para isso, defini como objetivo geral: Envolver das famílias nas práticas educativas em Creche e Jardim de infância, e como objetivos específicos: reconhecer a importância das famílias no contexto educativo, planear e articular com elas experiências significativas, analisar os impactos da sua participação nas crianças e refletir sobre o papel do/a educadora/a na construção desta aproximação. Todo este processo, permitiu a minha aprendizagem e crescimento no que toca ao envolvimento das famílias e no impacto que o mesmo pode oferecer às crianças. Todas as aprendizagens e os vários momentos de interação com o meio familiar estão evidenciados neste relatório. Em particular, uma das aprendizagens mais significativas foi perceber que mesmo com pequenas iniciativas, como um convite para uma atividade ou uma simples partilha diária, pode criar oportunidades de proximidade e reforçar a confiança entre os contextos; Building Bridges: Family Engagement in Nursery and Kindergarten Contexts - Abstract: This Internship Report was developed within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice in Creche and Pre-school of the master’s degree in Preschool Education. It presents all the action-research work carried out over these years in both institutions. The methodology of this report was based on action-research, aiming to answer the following questions: “How can I involve families in educational practices? What impact can this involvement have on children?” To this end, I defined as a general objective the involvement of families in educational practices in Creche and Pre-school, and as specific objectives: to recognize the importance of families in the educational context, to plan and work with them in meaningful experiences, to analyze the impact of their participation on children, and to reflect on the role of the educator in building this relationship. This whole process allowed my learning and growth regarding family involvement and the impact it can have on children. All the learning and the various moments of interaction with the family environment are presented in this report. In particular, one of the most significant learnings was realizing that even small initiatives, such as an invitation to an activity or a simple daily exchange, can create opportunities for closeness and strengthen trust between contexts.
