Para o estudo do contributo das línguas nacionais de Timor-Leste na constituição do léxico do português de Timor

Abstract

É fundamental a valorização e o reconhecimento das diferentes variedades do português, não só enriquecendo a compreensão linguística, mas também favorecendo a comunicação efetiva e promovendo um maior entendimento entre falantes de diferentes países lusófonos, graças ao conhecimento das diferentes variedades da língua e das suas particularidades. Esta investigação centra-se no estudo do contributo das diferentes línguas nativas de Timor-Leste para o léxico do português timorense, com base em dois tipos de recolhas: em obras literárias e por questionário junto de falantes cultos. Os objetivos da investigação incluem: 1. a análise da proveniência linguística destas palavras, identificando a sua origem, entre as línguas nacionais de Timor; 2. a quantificação do contributo de cada língua para a constituição da variedade timorense do português; 3. a descrição dos campos semânticos predominantes, relacionando-os com a realidade timorense; 4. a análise das categorias sintáticas predominantes, destacando as estruturas gramaticais mais utilizadas; 5. a integração ou não destas palavras no VOTL, propondo-se a integração das que ainda não se encontram aí registadas - For the study of the contribution of East Timor's national languages in the constitution of the constitution of the lexicon of East Timorese Portuguese. SUMMARY: The appreciation and recognition of the different varieties of Portuguese is fundamental, enriching not only linguistic understanding, but also favoring effective communication and promoting greater understanding between speakers from different Portuguese-speaking countries, thanks to the knowledge of the different varieties of the language and their particularities. This research focuses on studying the contribution of the different native languages of East Timor to the lexicon of East Timorese Portuguese, based on two types of collection: literary works and questionnaires with educated speakers. The research objectives include: 1. the analysis of the linguistic provenance of these words, identifying their origin among the national languages of Timor; 2. quantifying the contribution of each language to the constitution of the Timorese variety of Portuguese; 3. describing the predominant semantic fields, relating them to the Timorese reality; 4. analysis of the predominant syntactic categories, highlighting the most used grammatical structures; 5. the integration or not of these words into the VOTL, proposing the integration of those not yet registered there.
