A pessoa em situação crítica com hemorragia digestiva alta: abordagem inicial no serviço de urgência

Abstract

O presente relatório pretende demonstrar o desenvolvimento de competências especializadas e de mestre na área da Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica - A Pessoa em Situação Crítica no decorrer do Estágio Final e durante todo o percurso académico. Objetivo: Explanar de forma pormenorizada as atividades elaboradas durante o Estágio Final, evidenciando a sua relevância na aquisição das competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, a Pessoa em Situação Crítica, assim como das competências de Grau de Mestre. Metodologia: Método descritivo das atividades implementadas no decorrer do Estágio Final. Concomitantemente apresenta-se a atividade major desenvolvida recorrendo à metodologia de projeto, referenciando o Modelo para a Mudança da Prática Baseada em Evidências de June Larrabee. Resultados: Melhoria da segurança e uniformização dos cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa em situação crítica com hemorragia digestiva alta [HDA], admitida no serviço de urgência, no contexto do desenvolvimento da atividade major. Conclusão: Análise crítico-reflexiva da aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências. A abordagem inicial à pessoa com HDA no serviço de urgência torna-se mais eficaz e eficiente se seguir a mnemónica ABCDE pois determina as prioridades aperfeiçoando os cuidados prestados e os resultados obtidos; THE PERSON WITH UPPER GASTROINTESTINAL BLEEDING: INITIAL APPROACH IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ABSTRACT: This report intends to demonstrate the development of specialized skills and a master's degree in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing - The person in a critical situation during the Final Internship and throughout the academic path. Objective: Explain in detail the activities carried out during the Final Stage, highlighting their relevance in the acquisition of common and specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing, the Person in Critical Situation, as well as the skills of the Master's Degree. Methodology: Descriptive method of the activities implemented during the Final Stage. At the same time, the major activity developed using the project methodology is presented, referencing the Model for Change in Evidence-Based Practice by June Larrabee. Results: Improved safety and standardization of nursing care for the person in a critical situation with upper gastrointestinal bleeding [UGIB], admitted to the emergency department, in the context of the development of major activity. Conclusion: Critical-reflexive analysis of the acquisition and development of competences. The initial approach to the person with HDA in the emergency department becomes more effective and efficient if it follows the ABCDE mnemonic as it determines priorities by improving the care provided and the results obtained.
