A luta dos Direitos Humanos em Ditadura: o caso da Bielorrússia

Abstract

O trabalho a realizar incide sobre a liderança de Lukashenko e como o regime político ditatorial da Bielorrússia está a afetar os direitos fundamentais de um povo que se sentia já oprimido desde a criação do país que mantém uma ideologia dividida, com a insuficiente cooperação por parte das Organizações Internacionais e que sente as consequências de revoltas por todo o país. Passa-se também por uma breve contextualização histórica do país e as especificidades deste regime político. Vários autores acreditam que apesar de todos os pedidos de ajuda internacional por parte do povo acerca do resultado eleitoral e do misterioso desaparecimento dos opositores políticos de Lukashenko, a situação persiste. O país atravessa uma crise com demasiados precedentes. Fala-se de autoritarismo e ditadura num país situado no continente das liberdades individuais e dos direitos cívicos. Autores como Hannah Arendt (1978) mostram-nos o que é o totalitarismo e a ditadura e Irene Pimentel (2013) fala-nos como a memória de situações passadas se torna importante em alturas em que a história se parece repetir, como a evitar e como perceber os sinais que se encontram á nossa frente. Perguntamo-nos então: Quais são as condições para que o regime ditatorial da Bielorrússia persista com a violação dos Direitos Humanos, perante os crescentes protestos internos (femininos) e a inoperância da comunidade internacional? Os seus habitantes sentem-se negligenciados e esquecidos, de direitos arrancados e vivem a violência. O trabalho será desenvolvido recorrendo a uma Investigação qualitativa com recurso a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental; - The strugle of Human Rights in authoritarian Dictatorship: the case of Belarus - Abstract: The work to be carried out focused on Lukashenko’s leadership and how the dictatorial political regime of Belarus is affecting the fundamental rights of a people who have felt oppressed since the creation of a country that maintains a divided ideology, with insufficient cooperation on the part of international organizations and feeling the consequences of uprisings across the country. There is also a brief historical contextualization of the country and the specificities of this dictatorial regime. Several authors believe that despite all the requests for help made to international organizations by the people regarding the election result and the mysterious disappearance of Lukashenko's political opponents, nothing has been done to help them. The country is going through a crisis with too many precedents. There is talk of authoritarianism and dictatorship in a country situated on the continent of individual freedoms and rights. Authors such as Hannah Arendt (1978) show us what totalitarianism and dictatorship are and Irene Pimentel (2013) tells us how the memory of past situations becomes important at times when history seems to repeat itself, how to avoid and how to perceive the signs that lie ahead of us. We ask ourselves: What are the conditions for Belarus’s dictatorial regime to persist in the violation of human rights, in the face of growing internal (female) protests and the inoperability of the international community? Its inhabitants feel neglected and forgotten, of rights torn apart and violence is lived. The work will be developed using a qualitative investigation using bibliographic and documentary research.
