| Abstract: | In this chapter, a general presentation of the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) is made in order
to provide the context within which the later study is presented. First, a flat, uniform, and homogeneous
atmospheric boundary layer is assumed, and special attention is paid in the evolution of the ABL during
the diurnal cycle over the land surface. |
