Abstract: The influence of material dispersion is usually disregarded in the analysis of chirowaveguides. In this paper, by using the Condon model for chiral media, the material and the waveguide dispersion are both taken into account in the analysis of surface and semileaky modes of a symmetric planar dielectric chirowaveguide.
