O curar ecológico na história da medicina

Abstract

Esta tese procura estudar a história da medicina na perspectiva do acto ou cuidado ecológico. Começa por definir o cuidar, ecologia e cuidado ecológico. Realça-se a actualidade do tema em Portugal, estando a legislar sobre o tema em questão "as terapias não convencionais" (mais conhecidas por medicinas alternativas) tendo sido publicado uma lei impulsionadora em 2003. A Organização Mundial de Saúde lançou igualmente a sua estratégia para os anos de 2002 a 2005 com vista à implementação gradual após análise e validação destas práticas nos sistemas nacionais de saúde. Em seguida pesquisa-se no percurso da história da medicina a forma de cuidado regente, realçando as terapias ecológicas, que vigoram até ao final do século dezanove. Com as descobertas de meios químicos no combate às enfermidades os meios e abordagens naturais são substituídas pela abordagem tecno-científica, no entanto outras formas de cuidar subsistem com o tempo. Os terapeutas, da também denominada medicina não convencional, são os principais interpretes do cuidar ecológico ou naturológico. Trazem para os tempos modernos científicos a memória dos cuidados ancestrais. Nas ultimas duas décadas, tem havido uma procura crescente (20 a 50% na Europa) destes cuidados naturais que abordam holisticamente o Homem como ser integrante da natureza. Estão a ser regulamentadas em Portugal, e que serão abordadas na tese as seguintes terapias: naturopatia, homeopatia, acupunctura, osteopatia e quiropraxia. /***Abstract - This thesis tries to study the history of the medicine in the perspective of the ecologic act or ecological care. lt begins by defining taking care, ecology and ecological care. The actuality of the theme is enhanced in Portugal, being to legislate on the theme in subject "the therapies doesn't stipulate" (more known by alternative medicines) having been published a stimulation law on 2003 (Law n. 4512003). The World Health Organization (WHO) threw its strategy equally for the years from 2002 – 2005 desire the gradual introduction after analysis and validation of these practices in the national health systems. Soon after it is researched in the course of the medicine history the form of having taken care, enhancing the ecological therapies, that invigorate to the end of the XIX century. With the discoveries of chemical means in the combat to the illnesses the means and natural approaches are substituted by the techno-scientific approach; however other forms of taking care, subsist with the time. The health practitioners of the denominated non-conventional medicine are also the main of taking ecological care. They bring for the techno-scientific modern times the memory of the ancestral cares. In the last two decades, it has been having a growing search (20 to 50% in Europe) of these natural cares that holistic approach of the Man as to be integral of the nature. They are to be regulated in Portugal, and that will be approached in the thesis the following therapies: naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, osteopathy and chiropraxis.
