Abstract:
The roman necropolis of Poço do Cortiço, located in Santiago Maior, municipality Alandroal (Portugal) and was partially intervened in the last decade of the 20th century, under an emergency intervention due to its
partial destruction caused by fluvial erosion of a small stream.
After a brief papper (Rocha, 1995) now presents its scientific framework given its typology, materials and landscape.
