Abstract: Eriocheir sinensis is an invasive species that spread in European waters as the result of human activity. The captures from the Portuguese population took place in September 2013 in the Tagus Estuary and were dominated by the medium-sized individuals at the beginning of their reproducing cycle (n=192).
