Rendimento académico dos alunos e papel dos pais/encarregados de educação em Angola: o caso de uma escola do ensino primário e 1º ciclo do ensino secundário

Abstract

O desenvolvimento desta dissertação está na base da problemática da participação ativa da família no processo educativo e instrutivo do educando/aluno, dentro de um espírito colaborativo e de envolvimento nas atividades da escola, permitindo o melhoramento do rendimento académico do educando/aluno. A dinâmica interna das instituições de ensino deve ser efetivada dentro da autonomia relativa que a escola possui aproveitando dentro da democracia de ensino, o envolvimento dos atores principais do processo, nas ações da escola. A participação dos Pais/Encarregados de Educação na escola e no acompanhamento de seus educandos é um fator preponderante qualitativo e dinamizador, na organização das instituições de ensino, bem como do desenvolvimento do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. A forma como a participação ocorre, pode influenciar positiva ou negativamente no rendimento académico do aluno, aponta-se por isto alguns dos fatores que estão na base da pouca participação dos Pais/Encarregados de Educação na vida escolar de seus educandos. Por outro lado, apresentamos alguns motivos que beneficiam a escola e o rendimento académico do aluno, tendo em conta a participação dos Pais/Encarregados de Educação. Assim sendo esta dissertação tem como propósito compreender a partir das opiniões dos professores inquiridos, a problemática da participação dos Pais/Encarregados de Educação no acompanhamento dos educandos na vida escolar para a melhoria do seu rendimento académico; ### ABSTRACT: Students' academic achievement and role of Parent / Guardian in Angola: The case of a School of Primary and Secondary education Iº Cycle The development of this thesis, is the basis of the problem of active participation of the family in the educational process and instructive to the student / learner within a collaborative spirit and involvement in school activities, allowing the improvement of the academic performance of the student / learner. The internal dynamics of educational institutions should be carried out within the relative autonomy that the school has advantage in democracy education, the involvement of the main actors of the process, the school's actions. Participation of Parents / Carers in school and in the monitoring of their students, is a major factor qualitative and dynamic, in the organization of educational institutions, as well as the development of teaching and learning. The way participation occurs, can positively or negatively influence the academic performance of the student, for it points up some of the factors that underlie the low participation of parents / guardians in the school life of their students. On the other hand we announce some reasons that benefit the school and the student's academic performance, taking into account the participation of Parents/Carers. Thus, this dissertation aims to understand from the teachers' opinions, the issue of participation of Parents / Carers in monitoring students in school life, for improving its academic performance.
