Abstract: This text presents an overview of the organ now in the parish Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição in the town of Angra do Heroísmo in Terceira Island (Azores). This instrument, built by Portuguese organbuilder António Xavier Machado e Cerveira in 1815, originally belonged to the Convent of Luz in Praia da Vitória being purchased for the Collegiate of Conceição soon after the extinction of the religious orders in Portugal in 1834.</summary>

Abstract: In the first decades of the seventeenth century Gonçalo Annes Boto was organist chapel master at the parish Church of Santa Cruz, vila of Santa Cruz, Graciosa, a small island in the Azorean archipelago. As many musicians that worked in the Azores isles little is known about Boto's life and career. This text examines the known documentation regarding his career also providing some context surrounding his activity at the Church of Santa Cruz.</summary>

Abstract: Fr. Manuel Cardoso was one of the most important Portuguese composers of the first half of the seventeenth century, also being one of the composers who saw their music being printed. Of his last printed book, the Livro de varios motetes (Lisbon, 1648), we find the motet Ecce mulier Chananea for four voices (SATB). This is a brief analysis text of this work which accompanies a recording made by Oniria – Sacabuxe in an instrumental version following the performance practices of the period.</summary>

This is one of the last instruments build by the António Xavier Machado e Cerveira's workhop. It was build for the Misericórdia Church in 1829.</summary>
