Abstract: | Nature abounds with extremely complex flow systems whose organization is so clear that it calls for a principIe of the generation of flow configuration. Measurements all over the globe show overwhelmingly that relatively tight correlations exist between the numbers and length scales of channels in a river
basin. Here we deduce these relations from the constructallaw, and then we compare them with the river basin data. |
