Abstract: In the 1950's/1960's, Raúl Chorão Ramalho built several buildings, from different typologies in Macau. The Pedro Nolasco School is now at risk and the Docomomo Macau is worried about the impact of the Chinese development of the city in the remaining portuguese architecture, such as the modern building of this school, that preserves it soriginal use. The Conferences "Synthesis of a Universal Work with Cultural Memory", that took place in Macau, found a stage for the discussion with the local inherent of these buildings and memories. Arch Sérgio Spencer (Docomomo Macau) lead the discussion after the presentation.
