Abstract

We study the trajectory of the journalist and writer Antonio Zozaya as a publisher and translator of classical books of Filosofy (from ancient Greek to Medieval Age or Contemporary Ages). We analyze all his work to spread culture -with cheap books- and philosophical acknowledgment between the lower classes of the XIXth and XXth Centuries. Finally, and thanks to the collaboration with different well-known writers of the period, The so-called BEF ( Economic Library of Philosophy) was widespread among the intellectuals of Europe and America.
