Abstract: O objetivo deste trabalho é a obtenção da espessura da litosfera a partir de dados de fluxo de calor, considerando transferência de energia térmica por condução na direção vertical, do manto para a superfície. Para temperatura na base da litosfera foi utilizado o valor 1350oC. Atendendo a que nos últimos anos têm sido publicados diversos trabalhos sobre a estrutura da crusta no Canal de Moçambique e regiões adjacentes, foi possível relacionar os valores do fluxo de calor com as características (propriedades) dos locais onde foram medidos, tendo sido realizados modelos a 3 latitudes diferentes com base em dados obtidos junto da costa, em meio continental, e em meio oceânico. Os modelos consideram que o valor do fluxo de calor medido resulta da contribuição das regiões mais profundas (designada por fluxo do manto, Qm) somada com a contribuição das fontes de calor existentes na crusta. Os modelos consideram crusta continental ou crusta de transição entre domínio continental e domínio oceânico. Temperaturas correspondentes ao Ponto de Curie foram obtidas em meios continental a cerca de 31 km de profundidade. Abstract: This work presents a comparison of microwave radiometer (MWR) and sun-photometer integrated water vapor (IWV) data using global navigation satellite system (GNSS) IWV as reference in Portugal (2003-2021). A very high correlation is obtained for both instruments, although MWR shows a wet
bias and sun-photometers, a dry one.
